Mycopunk Secret Weapons: The Globbler, Carver & Hidden Guns
The Codex only documents half the arsenal. Here is what is confirmed about Mycopunk's secret weapons — the acid-slinging Globbler and the unkillable Carver.

Why Some Guns Are Missing From the Codex
Mycopunk's inventory Codex lists acquisition details for non-secret entries only. Secret weapons are found in the world, through exploration and secrets, and the game never points at them directly. That is what makes them secret — and what makes community knowledge the only reliable map.
The Globbler
The Globbler is a secret grenade launcher that fires bouncing acid globules. Under favorable conditions it may have the highest destructive ceiling in the game: grounded enemies caught inside its preferred area evaporate. Its weakness is the same conditioning — flying enemies, elevation changes and awkward terrain all shrink its window. Pair it with a weapon that handles what it cannot, like the Accelerator for moving targets.
| Globbler fact | Detail |
|---|---|
| Type | Secret grenade launcher |
| Damage type | Bouncing acid globules |
| Strength | Highest damage ceiling under ideal conditions |
| Weakness | Flying enemies, elevation, awkward terrain |
| In the Codex | No — secret weapons are undocumented |
The Carver
The Carver is a secret melee chainsaw with a unique Blood stacking mechanic: stacking blood grants immense damage resistance, and with the right build the wielder becomes nearly unkillable. 1.0 added Turkey's Bloodlust (Exotic), which lets you hold Reload to spend all your blood stacks on a temporary damage boost — a melee build that trades its armor for burst.
Finding Them
Official sources do not document where secret weapons spawn, and this page will not invent locations. What is confirmed: secrets exist across New Atlas and its moonlet X11-B (the new 1.0 region with difficult missions that test your best loadouts). Explore thoroughly, watch the community's discovery threads, and treat any specific location claim you have not verified yourself as a lead, not a fact.
How do you get the Globbler in Mycopunk?
The Globbler is a secret weapon — it does not appear in the Codex and is not unlocked with Armament Licenses. It is found through exploration on New Atlas.
Is the Carver good in Mycopunk?
It is situational but powerful: a melee chainsaw whose Blood stacks grant massive damage resistance, turning the wielder nearly unkillable with the right build. 1.0's Turkey's Bloodlust adds a damage-burst option.
What counts as a secret weapon in Mycopunk?
Any weapon the Codex refuses to document. Secret weapons are found in the world rather than purchased or licensed.
