How You Unlock Them
Most weapons unlock with Armament Licenses earned from leveling up — you choose the order. The inventory's Codex tab lists acquisition details for non-secret entries, so before spending a license, check whether the gun you want is actually license-gated. Secret weapons like the Globbler and Carver never appear in the Codex; they are found in the world. See the secret weapons guide for details.
One Weapon or Two?
You always carry two primaries, and they feed each other ammo — building around a pair beats favoriting a single gun. Our tier list ranks each weapon individually for 1.0, and the upgrade grid guide explains how to rebuild around whichever pair you settle on.
How many weapons are in Mycopunk?
Mycopunk's 1.0 arsenal includes at least twelve confirmed weapons across SMGs, launchers, rifles and melee, plus secret weapons hidden on New Atlas. The Codex lists acquisition details for non-secret entries.
How do you unlock weapons in Mycopunk?
Standard weapons unlock with Armament Licenses from level-ups, in the order you choose. Secret weapons do not use licenses — they are found through exploration.
What is the Diffraction Driver in Mycopunk?
The Diffraction Driver is a 1.0 ion scattergun that fires a short-range cone. Spinning up its halo makes the cone smaller and the shot longer-ranged.
