Mycopunk Trophy Guide: Tips for Every Achievement Type

Forty-eight achievements, eight of them hidden. How to actually execute each type — co-op feats, death-ladder secrets, packing puzzles and the long grinds.

Last updated:

Mycopunk tracks 48 achievements on Steam, and the 1.0 update added in-game fulfillments that reward cosmetics like hats. Most feats count in both systems, so one efficient run clears both — the two systems' relationship is broken down in all achievements.

Mycopunk 1.0 launched on PC and PS5 on October 20, 2026. The 48-item list documented below is the Steam list; a PS5 trophy list with an equivalent structure ships with the console version, but its exact trophy tiers had not been published in a form we could verify at time of writing, so treat this as the roadmap and expect roughly the same feats on PlayStation.

The Co-op Four: One Session, Done

Four achievements need other players. Schedule them for a single evening rather than hoping randoms cooperate:

AchievementRequirementExecution tip
Best TeammateKill a member of your crewAny friendly-fire kill counts; do it in the HUB or early in a mission
Yeehawwwww! As Wrangler, lasso another playerHost picks Wrangler for the session
Full CrewComplete a mission with four different employeesNeeds a full four-player squad, one per employee
BANG!Make a basket with another player's body part (hidden)Players report this needs knocking a ragdolled teammate into a hoop-style spot — easiest with a willing friend

If you are at 47/48 and missing a co-op feat, you will need to assemble a group, so clear these early.

The Death and Mistake Achievements

Several secrets reward losing badly, and they are all controllable:

  • Overclocker — die to an exploding overclocked enemy core. Stay next to the core when it detonates instead of dodging.
  • Hard Landing — die from fall damage. Lower your health first (a friend's gunfire or your own grenades), then jump from a tall structure; players report Titan City's high spots and even the HUB work.
  • Employee of the Month (hidden) — die 31 times. There is an electric pole in the HUB that can kill you; farm deaths there between missions.
  • Oops (hidden) — knock over a pipe. Walk into one; it is that simple, but nobody reads it until it pops.
  • Slap — melee-kill a Hornet. Shoot it low first, then punch the finishing blow as it closes in.
  • Swinger — ride a grapple pole for its full swing duration without touching the ground. Find the tallest pole you can and commit.

The Threat Ladder

Seven achievements track one mission clear per threat level, from Safe at threat 1 up through Onslaught at threat 6, with threat 7 sitting at the endgame. You must clear each tier to unlock the next, so this ladder is really "raise your build until threat stops hurting." Pair each new tier with a region achievement — desert, Gravity Farms, Moldy Tundra, Titan City, Ice Floes and Runoff Swamp each have one — by picking unfamiliar regions at the new threat.

The Grinds That Need a Plan

  • Space Optimization — fit 9 upgrades on one grid. Strip your big pieces and pack nine slim upgrades as a pure puzzle; a high-level item with many small upgrades collected works best.
  • Collector / Hoarder — 50 and 200 upgrades collected. Keep grabbing drops you will not use; the Amalgamation hunt pays 10 upgrades per clear.
  • The Holder of All Things — every upgrade discovered. The last stop for completionists; crafting undiscovered upgrades with Saxonite (cheaper in Saxonite since 1.0) fills holes.
  • Serial Killer — 5,000 kills. Higher swarm densities speed it up, but expect it to outlast everything else.
  • Employee of the Day / Big Shot — levels 30 and 15. Unavoidable; just play. The leveling guide speeds the climb.
  • Calm Down (hidden) — greet Roachard "a lot." No published count exists; keep using the interaction until it pops.

The 1.0 Endgame Objectives

The launch update added the tail of the list: rescue the Mycologist via Expedition Alpha (see how to unlock Mycologist), clear the Overtime Assignment, run Incursion to floor 10, open a locked bunker (Bunker Buster), find the Broken Frame, complete Ground Zero, reach X11-B, and post a high score on the HUB's Starrunner arcade cabinet. Two of these — Cranius and Bunker Buster — were reported broken at launch and fixed in the October 21 patch, so if they never popped for you, update and retry. Pigeons at Play's own upgrade lists like employee abilities tie into several of these objectives.

Does Mycopunk have a platinum trophy on PS5?

The PS5 version launched October 20, 2026, but its exact trophy structure and platinum status had not been published in a form we could verify at time of writing. The 48-achievement Steam list is the reliable roadmap for both platforms.

What are fulfillments in Mycopunk?

Fulfillments are the in-game achievement system added in 1.0. They track mastery feats and reward cosmetics such as hats; they do not replace the 48 platform achievements.

Are any Mycopunk achievements missable?

Nothing indicates permanent missables — achievements track replayable missions, counters and exploration. Two launch objectives were bugged but patched shortly after release.

How do I get the hidden achievements in Mycopunk?

The hidden set covers deaths and jokes: dying 31 times, dying to fall damage or an overclocked core, greeting Roachard repeatedly, knocking over a pipe, the co-op body-basket, and secret objectives like Ground Zero and the Broken Frame.

For the full two-system breakdown and a completion order, read all achievements, then take your fresh build into X11-B with the best builds page as a reference.
